Alongside its core activities — environmental consulting and the preparation of project-related environmental documentation — Inter-Eco LLC continues its research and development work. The result is a new in-house product: the ATMO software suite, which is currently in the testing phase.
The name stands for Automated Technology for OND-86 Modelling. The software is designed to calculate ground-level concentrations of air pollutants using the OND-86 methodology — the foundational standard applied in Ukraine when preparing emission permit applications, environmental impact assessment reports, and related documentation.
At the heart of ATMO lies the Trianon 1.0 calculation engine, whose algorithm was approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Ukraine (letter No. 946/11/10-09, dated 27 January 2009). The new software therefore inherits a verified and officially endorsed computational core and fully complies with the requirements of the OND-86 methodology.
At the same time, ATMO is a modern tool with an intuitive interface. It automatically determines which substances require a full dispersion calculation, generates interactive concentration field maps showing emission sources and the sanitary protection zone boundary, performs calculations at user-defined control points, and accounts for background pollution and meteorological conditions.
Particular attention has been paid to practical output: with a single click, ATMO produces a ready-to-use Word report with pre-filled tables covering input data, meteorological parameters, feasibility analysis, and calculation results — in the format standard for Ukrainian environmental documentation.
The suite is currently in active testing and refinement. In developing ATMO, Inter-Eco combines years of hands-on experience in environmental design with its own scientific expertise — and is preparing to put a reliable, methodologically sound dispersion modelling tool to work.
