International Environment Day 2024

"Either we will end pollution, or it will end us" - this was the motivation in the appeal of 2,200 scientists and cultural figures from 23 countries to the UN Secretary General dated May 11, 1971. In 1972, at the UN conference on the environment, Japan and Senegal proposed to draw the attention of humanity to the problems of using the planet's natural resources and celebrate this day annually.
