Mr Kots is the head of the environmental measurement laboratory. He has extensive experience and perfect practical skills in instrumental and laboratory measurements including methodology, features and nuances of laboratory measurements in environmental analysis. Mr Kots carries out administrative, organizational and operational work of the laboratory. He provides technical support of the company.

Education

Vinnytsia Institute of Economics and Social Sciences (a part of the Open International University of Human Development), Faculty of Environmental Management, Master's degree in Ecology and Teaching.

Key Projects

  • Investigation and measuring sources of emissions, wastewater and process equipment for excess technological leaks and hexane losses in the extraction plant at one of the country largest oil press. Central Ukraine, 2020-2021.
  • Measurement of the composition of flue gases (NOx, CO, SO2, dust) and other parameters like temperature, dynamic pressure, volume of flue gases, chemical and fractional composition, etc., thermal and video recording of fugitive air emissions from convectors 4, 5, 6 in the converter department of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih. The works were done for the purpose of designing and installing a secondary gas treatment. Measurements were carried out on the order of M. N. Dastur & Co. (P) Ltd, (Kolkata, India). Kryvyi Rih, November-December, 2019.
  • Measurement of the content of carbon dioxide (CO2), as well as other substances and parameters of the flue gas flow from horizontal rotating furnaces of the limestone shop at PJSC "Mariupol Ilyich Metallurgical Plant". The works were done for the purpose of assessing investment prospects in the plant construction for the production of component carbon dioxide. Mariupol, 2019.
